Easy Tear Rollstock is a functional packaging roll material developed by optimizing the tear structure based on conventional composite roll film. Common structures fall into two categories
Easy Tear Rollstock for stand-up pouches/back-seal bags typically uses an outer layer of PET or matte BOPP for printing, with AL/VMPET/EVOH added in the middle for barrier protection. The inner layer uses modified easy-tear PE or a specially formulated CPP to ensure tearing occurs in a predetermined direction. Typical examples include PET/AL/easy-tear PE, BOPP/VMPET/easy-tear PE, and PET/PA/easy-tear PE. Easy-open films for cup lids/trays are mostly PET/easy-tear heat-sealing layers or PET/AL/easy-tear heat-sealing layers. The heat-sealing layer is formulated to control the peel force with the PP/PE/PS cup opening within a suitable range, allowing for easy opening without residue.
