Manufacturing Process of Self-Sealing Bags

The production process for resealable bags typically utilizes polyethylene (PE) as the primary raw material; the material is melted in an extruder to form a film, which is then processed via film-blowing equipment into continuous rolls of plastic film. Throughout this stage, parameters such as thickness uniformity, transparency, and toughness must be strictly controlled to ensure stability during subsequent processing.

During the bag-making and slitting phase, the film rolls are cut to specified dimensions and heat-sealed by a bag-making machine to form the bag structure. Concurrently, interlocking ridges-the core component of the resealable mechanism-are pressed into the opening area; this step demands high precision in mold engineering and temperature control.

Regarding edge sealing and quality inspection, the sides and bottom of the bag are heat-sealed to create a complete structure, while the resealable strip undergoes repeated opening and closing tests to verify sealing integrity and resilience. High-specification products may undergo additional processes-such as punching, printing, or anti-static treatment-to suit various application scenarios.

Overall, while the production process for resealable bags is not overly complex, it places high demands on material formulation, temperature control, and mold precision-factors that directly determine the product's sealing performance, durability, and reusability.
