Size Specifications
Resealable bags come in a wide range of sizes. Small bags-typically ranging from 5×7 cm to 10×15 cm-are generally used for storing parts, medication, or jewelry. Medium bags, commonly sized between 15×20 cm and 25×35 cm, are suitable for portioning food or organizing documents and small items. Large bags are designed for clothing, document storage, or bulkier items; they can measure 30×40 cm or larger, catering to diverse storage needs.
Thickness Specifications
Thickness is usually measured in "si" (a unit equivalent to 10 microns), such as 8 si, 10 si, or 12 si. Greater thickness results in a sturdier bag with superior puncture resistance and a longer lifespan for repeated use. Thinner bags are ideal for lightweight items or single-use applications, whereas thicker bags are better suited for long-term storage or heavier objects.
Load-Bearing Capacity and Usage Categories
Some manufacturers categorize products based on specific use cases-such as food-grade resealable bags, industrial-grade anti-static bags, or heavy-duty thickened bags. While these categories do not constitute a strictly standardized system, they serve as valuable references when making a purchase.
